That said, this should be helpful to anyone as there are multiple reasons people put up fake photos, not just for scams.

In this article, I want to talk about using Google Images to do the same thing.
Fake photos often point to fake profiles (or at least someone who’s lying about what they look like! Here I have a (fictional) profile where I’m a bit suspicious that I might be looking at someone using fake photos. Getting the Image Location from When logged into your account, open the suspicious profile and right-click the photo then: 2.
However, if they are using the photo of a model or someone else, often it will become very clear that they are lying.
In my fictional example that I’ve been walking through here, it’s become clear that someone is using an image of the Victoria Secret model Miranda Kerr.
Now I don’t think you should be suspicious of every profile online and I don’t see this process necessary most of the time.
There are two things I would encourage you to watch out for where this process can be well worth the thirty seconds it takes: Amazing photographs.
